Then you might want to apply for our cycle of seminars on “Socio-ecological transformation (SET) and climate change in Greece” from October 2021 until January 2022.

  • Greece is one of the countries that will be hit hardest by climate change. The impact on key areas of the Greek economy, such as tourism and agriculture, will be immense. The livelihoods of many people will no longer be secure, social inequalities will increase, not to mention the destruction of nature.
  • It is time to act, and your contribution is necessary! Policy makers must become aware of the need to act. Therefore, a public debate – including media, trade and workers unions and civil society - about strategies for mitigating and adapting to climate change and social injustice must be pushed forward.
  • Social media play an important role in this awareness-raising process. Political participation without digital communication is no longer conceivable today.

We aim to co-create together with you strong campaigns to influence the decision makers and motivate them to act on tackling the climate crisis in Greece, and to implement them together with you in Greece next year.

Curious? Then you should definitely check our call for applications below for more information!
