Willkommen bei der Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Athen

Die Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung hat im Mai 2012 ihre Vertretung in Athen wiedereröffnet.

Wir wollen mit unserer Arbeit die traditionell guten und engen deutsch-griechischen Beziehungen weiter vertiefen und stärken. Denn eine vertrauensvolle Kooperation der beiden Länder ist notwendig, um die großen sozialen, politischen und wirtschaftlichen Herausforderungen zu meistern, vor denen Europa steht. Gleichzeitig hat die Kooperation mit den Ländern des Balkans und des östlichen Mittelmeerraums an Bedeutung für unsere Arbeit gewonnen.

Dabei konzentrieren wir uns auf die folgenden vier Themen:

Stärkung der Demokratie
Zukunft der Arbeit
Klima und soziale Gerechtigkeit
Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik

Bei allen Projekten arbeiten wir eng mit unseren griechischen Partnern aus Politik, Zivilgesellschaft, Gewerkschaften, Wissenschaft und Medien zusammen. Gemeinsam veranstalten wir Fachkonferenzen, Workshops und Expertengespräche; außerdem geben wir Studien und Analysen in Auftrag und erstellen Publikationen.
